Aaron Grabiel was raised in Northern California in a small town just east of Redding spending all of his free time hunting and fishing the local “secret” spots. Learning the tactics of stealth and approach from his observations of game in the field, learning wildlife habits from the animals themselves giving him a unique perspective on the wilderness around him. He is a true woodsman which is a disappearing skill in the modern day of technology. As your guide, Aaron is extremely patient and knowledgeable taking time to teach all that he can to people wanting to learn. He is a guide with a true passion for his job and teaching. He has been guiding since 2004.

Hogan began fly fishing from a young age virtually growing up on the banks of the North Fork and Lower Yuba Rivers. He began hitch hiking the 5 miles from his house to the Lower Yuba River with a fly rod in hand in Junior High School. He has chased trout and steelhead in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and Alberta Privinces in Canada.

Tayler was raised in the shadow of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and spent his youth accompanying his father to a variety of California’s many outdoor opportunities. He began his pursuit of fly fishing at age 13 and has not looked back. Once he purchased his first car, the pastime of fishing turned into a life style that has taken hold, and has yet to let go. His love of fishing and the natural world led him to complete a degree in Environmental Science from CSU Sacramento, and he uses this knowledge to impart a deeper understanding of the natural world to all that he has an opportunity to share it with. He has guided for various outfitters and lodges, spending 4 seasons in Western Alaska, and heeding the call of the fall season in Northern California, primarily on the Middle Klamath.
