    Amador FlyFishers (AFF) is a family-oriented club established in 1992 to provide an opportunity for persons interested in fly fishing to SHARE information with others, LEARN from others, EXPERIENCE fly fishing at various fisheries, and PROTECT fisheries for future generations.

  • Peninsula Fly Fishers

    The Peninsula Fly Fishers is the fly fishing club on the San Francisco Peninsula. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of every month with the exception of July (Installation Dinner) and December (Holiday Party). Visitors are always welcome to drop by and meet the members. We meet at the Highlands Community Center, 1665 Fernside St, Redwood City, CA 94061

  • Aguabonita Flyfishers

    The Aguabonita Flyfishers Club is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that was founded in January of 1979. At that time, we started with 41 charter members.

    Today, the club boast well over 100 members with several residing in other states and even as far away as the UK. We consider ourselves a very active club with many of our members participating in various educational and conservation outreach programs both locally and regionally.

  • California Fly Fishers Unlimited

    California Fly Fishers Unlimited (CFFU) is a non-profit community organization serving Sacramento and statewide. Since its inception in 1962, the club’s objective has been to promote awareness and participation in the art of fly fishing along with enhancement and preservation of resources through conservation efforts and in-school programs. Along with community service activities, the club holds technical fly fishing clinics, fly tying lessons, and casting classes for the new and experienced angler.   • Fly Fishers For Conservation Inc

    Fly Fishers for Conservation started in 1961. There were a few people with the vision to form a club that would include fishing, fun and conservation of the local waters. It was originally called Fly Fishermen for Conservation but was changed to Fly Fishers for Conservation in later years. The following is taken from the original formation documents. It is interesting to note that all work on this endeavor was done on a standard typewriter and the copies were made on a mimeograph machine. Things have changed!

  • Flycasters Of San Jose Inc

    Flycasters Inc. & Flycasters Educational Foundation, is a club devoted to the sport of fly fishing.  Through monthly programs, instruction, education, environmental activities and fishing, Flycasters preserves this classic sport.  Founded in 1965, Flycasters is one of the oldest clubs in California and one of the largest in the world.

    Granite Bay Flycasters (GBF) is a nonprofit, family-oriented club organized to promote fisheries conservation, catch and release fly fishing, and related crafts and skills. Founded in 1986 we are proudly celebrating our 30th year of service to the community.   • Grizzly Peak Flyfishers

    Grizzly Peak Fly Fishers is a non-profit, volunteer-based fly fishing club founded in 1982. Our club meets in the community of Kensington in the San Francisco East Bay, with a membership that encompasses Kensington, Berkeley, Oakland, El Cerrito, Albany, Alameda, Richmond and other local communities, as well as places beyond the East Bay.

    Our mission is to enhance the fly fishing experience through education, fly fishing outings, fellowship, skills development, and environmental awareness.

    Kaweah Flyfishers Aims and Purposes
    To improve and promote the sport of fly fishing as one means of enhancing and conserving high quality fisheries.
    To educate the public as to conservation practices needed and used in fishing.
    To promote and provide instruction in fly tying, fly rod building, fly casting and general stream-manship.
    To promote and work for the betterment of all fisheries in the Central Sierra with particular interest in the Kaweah, Kings, Tule and Kern River watersheds.

  • Mission Peak Fly Anglers

    Mission Peak Fly Anglers has been established in Fremont since 1977. Our club participates in many events that promotes our sport. Some of the activities include: Trout in the Classroom programs, participation with Veterans at many VA facilities, teaching casting, fly tying, and many other endeavours. It is also a great opportunity to explore fly fishing with many others who share an interest in fly fishing. During the year, we also have social events that allow members to exchange ideas about fly fishing.

  • Mount Tamalpais Fly Fishers

    MTFF is a fly fishing club in Marin County, CA. Since 2004, we have been bringing together fly anglers to share knowledge, experience, and good times. We host monthly meetings, fishing trips, casting clinics, and social dinners and events. Our members span all skill levels from beginner to veteran. We offer membership to anyone interested in fly fishing regardless of the skill level. Prospective members are welcome to attend our monthly meetings, meet current members, and learn more about us.   • Santa Cruz Fly Fishermen

    The Santa Cruz Fly Fishermen began as a small group of fly fishers, mainly steelhead fishers and one or two salt water fishers, gathering together on the banks of the San Lorenzo River, sharing tips, tales, and other fishing lore, and had its formal roots at Ernie\'s Casting Pond, which was a local fly shop. It was originally located in Santa Cruz and later moved to Soquel. Ernie and Diane Kinzli have since retired, and the fly shop has closed, marking the end of an era.
    The club has grown to over 200 members, and has ongoing classes in fly tying, fly casting, and rod building. They meet on the first Wednesday of every month, at 7:00 PM, at the Aptos Grange, 2555 Mar Vista Dr., Aptos,CA 95003 and feature speakers and programs from all over the state, presenting slides and speaking on a wide range of subjects relating to fly fishing, such as entomology, conservation, hot fishing spots, techniques, all to broaden the fly fishing experience.

  • Santa Lucia Flyfishers

    The Santa Lucia Fly Fishers club was established in 1975 to give local area fly fishers of all skill levels a way to learn, share and experience the challenges of our sport.
    We are a social membership club that helps members develop fly fishing expertise through casting clinics, skills classes, as well as fly tying and rod building workshops. We actively support conservation and sportsmanship.
    Our club is affiliated with the Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF), an international organization dedicated to education, conservation and restoration to advance the sport of fly fishing.
    We cater to women, men and young adult fly fishers of all experience levels and especially welcome newcomers to our sport. We invite you to check out one of our monthly meetings, held the second Thursday of the month, at Margie\'s Diner, San Luis Obispo.
    SLFF promotes catch and release fishing, offering a variety of local and long distance fly fishing outings for fresh water and ocean. We have experts to help you learn the sport and equipment to loan to get you started. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.   • Shasta Trinity Fly Fishers, Inc.

    We are a Federation of Fly Fishers affiliate fly fishing club located in Redding, CA. The club is dedicated to the art and science of fly fishing. We work toward preservation of the North state’s world class fisheries and watersheds by participating in, and donating to, habitat restoration projects with the DFG, Nature Conservancy’s McCloud River Preserve, the Federation of Fly Fishers and other river keeper organizations. Shasta-Trinity Fly Fishers provide our members and the community the opportunity to learn and improve their fly fishing skills through educational opportunities, regular fly fishing outings, and events designed to develop friendships among other passionate fly fishers.

  • Stanislaus Fly Fishers

    The Stanislaus Fly Fishers is headquartered in the Modesto, CA area. Its purpose is to generate more interest in the art and passion of fly fishing and provide an opportunity for local fly fishing enthusiasts to share their experiences and knowledge. The club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at Mill Creek Church, 147 Auto Center Court in Modesto, starting at 6:00 p.m. and is open to anyone with an interest in fly fishing.

  • Tahoe Truckee Flyfishers

    The Tahoe Truckee Fly Fishers is a non-profit sportsman group dedicated to promoting the sport of fly fishing and protecting the trout rich waters of the North Lake Tahoe area. Founded in 1984, the Tahoe Truckee Fly Fishers is a club for all anglers who care about the places they fish and want to learn more about the art of fly fishing to improve their skills and techniques whether you are an experienced fly fisher or a beginner. From GroupFish events, the summer BBQ, a fantastic youth program, to a line up of fabulous guest speakers at each of our general meetings, the club has a lot to offer for such a small donation.

  • Chico Area Flyfishers

    Since 1972, the Chico Area Flyfishers club has been involved in community activities which support and promote fly fishing. The Chico Area Flyfishers also support and participate in projects throughout northern California which enhance fisheries and fish habitat. The club works with youth and adults alike to foster a love of fishing and the great outdoors.

    The club meets on the second Wednesday of every month. Fly tying begins at 6:30pm and the general meeting begins at 7:30pm.

  • Fly Fishers of Davis

    Fly Fishers of Davis is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization with 100+ members that is dedicated to teaching people about fly fishing, swapping yarns about fishing, sponsoring fly fishing outings, conservation and generally enjoying the fine art of fly fishing.

    We meet at 7:00 PM on the first Thursday of every month September through June at the Livermore-Pleasanton Rod and Gun Club. Our meetings feature guest speakers who share some of their knowledge of the sport with us, a great fishing destination, a little-known fly fishing method that has proved successful, or an aspect of the sport they have found enjoyable. The evening ends with a raffle of those "must have" items of fly fishing gear. (Visitors are welcome to attend meetings and find out what TVFF is all about.)

  • Oakland Casting Club

    The purpose of the Oakland Casting Club is to provide instruction and encouragement to those who want to learn fly, spin and bait casting. We sponsor casting competitions, regularly scheduled fishing outings and other events. Many of our members enjoy fly tying, rod building and spey (two-handed) casting. We can assist beginners to experienced casters and welcome all.
