Recently changed my Truckee Area Fly Fishing Report format a bit. I thought I would do one for Prosser, Boca, and Stampede Reservoirs.  The Reservoirs are fishing well and you can target both Trout or Smallmouth Bass at this time.  Could be a great option if the Truckee and Little Truckee are a scene over the holiday week. Prosser, Boca, and Stampede Reservoirs Fishing Report Good action on the Reservoirs for Trout and Smallmouth Bass both from shore and from a floating device. Reservoirs overall Fishing Report Yesterday’s surface temp Continue ReadingThe post Truckee Area Fly Fishing Report June 30, 2018 appeared first on Four Seasons Fly Fishing.

Conditions here couldn’t be better super nice weather, plenty of water, and really eager fish.  The flows are a bit up and down on the rivers but that hasn’t seemed to disrupt the fish too much.  On the reservoirs temps are still good and the fish are still in the shallows.  Perfect for fly fishing.  It’s a great time to been here. Truckee River*** The flows have dropped a fair amount and are 246cfs near Truckee and 503cfs at Boca.  Mid-day water temps are in the Mid 50’s.  With the lower Continue ReadingThe post Truckee Tahoe Fly Fishing Report June 5th, 2018 appeared first on Four Seasons Fly Fishing.
